Abstract
This document details the system requirements for IBM® Maximo Asset Management
Content
Client Workstation:
This is the workstation where end users access and work with Maximo.

| SVGA 1024 x 768 resolution | Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® 6.0 or 7.0 |
| Note: The Maximo Workflow Designer requires a Java™ Runtime Environment (currently supported are JRE® 1.4.2, JRE 1.5 and 1.6***). The Workflow Designer checks for the JRE on the administrative workstation. If it does not find the JRE, Workflow Designer prompts you to install one. |

| * Maximo Spatial Asset Management 7.1.1 & Maximo for Utilities 7.1.1 - IE6 is NOT supported if Spatial is Deployed this is a continued Deviation from previous releases | |

Administrative Workstation:
The system administrator workstation is where you install the Maximo application and build the EAR files before deploying them.

Application Server:
The server where you install the IBM WebSphere or the BEA WebLogic Application Server and typically, where you deploy Maximo EAR files.

Database Server:
The server is where you install database software to create and maintain your Maximo database. You are responsible for maintaining database platform software.

| Reporting Tool | BIRT Version 2.1.2 is embedded with Maximo 7.1. It does not require a separate server. |
