Error description

  • During creation of an IBM Business Monitor profile or
    augmentation of a profile with IBM Business Monitor, the
    generation of the Cognos BI EAR file will be attempted,
    even if the Cognos product is installed into the
    (non-standard) directory <WAS_HOME>/cognos.  In the case where
    Cognos is not installed into <WAS_HOME>/cognos, this profile
    action will fail with a non-fatal error as noted in the file
    <PROFILE_NAME>_create.log (for profile creation) or
    <PROFILE_NAME>_augment.log:

Local fix

Problem summary

  • This problem exists in IBM Business Monitor Version 7.5.
    
    The problem has been resolved in IBM Business Monitor Version
    7.5.1.  Customers on Version 7.5 or 7.5.0.1 can upgrade to
    Version 7.5.1 by installing IBM Business Monitor V7.5 Refresh
    Pack 1, available at:
