APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In the Monitor Model Editor, when choosing to "Update from
Application - <app_name>", a new event in an event group will be
set to create a new instance, even though it should just deliver
to an existing instance.

Local fix

  • Using the "Generate Monitor Model..." function on the
application generates the event correctly.

Problem summary

  • This problem exists in WebSphere Business Monitor development
toolkit Version 6.2, and in the Monitor model editor
feature of WebSphere Integration Developer Version 7.0.

Problem conclusion

  • For WebSphere Business Monitor development toolkit Version 6.2
customers, this problem will be resolved in WebSphere Business
Monitor development toolkit Version 6.2 Fix Pack 4 (6.2.0.4).

For WebSphere Integration Developer Version 7.0 customers,
this problem will be resolved in WebSphere Integration Developer
Version 7.0 Fix Pack 4 (7.0.0.4).
