Prerequisites

1. Install the version 7.0 product from the appropriate compact disc or distribution media.

2 . For customers installing WebSphere maintenance level 7.0.0.1, it is mandatory to use the latest version of Update Installer V7.0 to support all version 7.0.0.1 WebSphere products on the machine.

Installation Instructions

Install Fix Pack 1 (7.0.0.1) on top of IBM WebSphere Application Server Version 7.0.

The Update Installer is not packaged as part of the Fix Pack download and needs to be acquired separately. To get the Update Installer needed to install this Fix Pack, follow the instructions provided in IBM Update Installer 7.0 for WebSphere Software for Linux.
