Abstract
IBM® WebSphere® Application Server Cumulative Fix for IBM SDK, Solaris Java™ SDK and HP-UX Java SDK.
 
Download Description
Applying this Cumulative Fix on Microsoft® Windows®, Linux®, and AIX® systems will upgrade your SDK to 1.5.0 Java Technology Edition SR7. The Cumulative Fix for HP-UX will upgrade to 1.5.0.12. The Cumulative Fix for Solaris will upgrade to 1.5.0_15-b04. Note that this Cumulative Fix is also applicable to the 64-bit Solaris platform.

Java SDK 1.5.0 SR7 Cumulative Fix was fully tested with WebSphere Application Server V6.1.0.17.

Prerequisites
1. Install the version 6.1 product from the appropriate compact disc or distribution media.

2 . Install the version 6.1.0.17 Update Installer (or later) from the Update Installer version 6.1 download page.
You very likely already have one installed, but only 6.1.0.17 or later level of Update Installer can be used. You must use 6.1.0.17 Update Installer.
 
 
Installation Instructions
Install JDK Fix Pack 6 (6.1.0.17) on top of IBM WebSphere Application Server Version 6.1.0.
The Update Installer is not packaged as part of the Fix Pack download and needs to be acquired separately. To get the Update Installer needed to install this Fix Pack , follow the instructions provided in Update Installer for WebSphere Application Server V6.1 releases.
