PM89372: PLUG-IN RETURNS "500" STATUS CODE WHEN RESPONSE HEADER IS OVER 100 KB

Error description

A response has a long (> 100 KB) response header. After plug-in
reads more then 100 KB, it log entries like the ones shown
below:

Local fix

Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The webserver plugin will not forward   *
*                      http headers that exceed 100K.          *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:  Typical webservers limit header sizes to    *
*                  16K and headers exceeding 16K are not       *
*                  recommended.                                *
****************************************************************
A message that the response is not valid is logged when a
header exceeds 100K.

Problem conclusion

Plugin limitation has been raised to allow for up to a 400K
header. Error messages improved to indicate when a header
exceeds this value.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.31, 8.0.0.7 and 8.5.5.1.  Please refer to the
