Error description

Console allows customer to save a known bad configuration
after a failed update.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When an application update fails, the   *
*                      customer is informed they must discard  *
*                      their workspace, but are provided       *
*                      with save links.                        *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:  Discard the workspace even though the       *
*                  option to save is presented.                *
****************************************************************
The console presents the save option even though the
application update failed and an error to discard the current
workspace was returned.

Problem conclusion

When the application update fails in a manner that requires
discarding the workspace, the console will only display the
discard link after the update completes.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.0.0.7, and 8.5.5.1.  Please refer to the
