Error description

  • NullPointerException thrown during getConnection and
    when connection pool is full . The following exception can be
    found in the log file.

Problem summary

    NullPointerException was thrown when getConnection call
    compares the Connection Request Info and Security subject in
    the existing ManagedConnection, which was Null.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix addressed the NullPointerException and handles
    comparison with an alternate ManagedConnection instance.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 7.0.0.31 and 8.0.0.8.  Please refer to the
