    * is not specified on BBOC transaction *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When a BBOC transaction is entered in CICS to register with
    WebSphere Optimized Local Adapters (WOLA) or to start a link
    server, the SEC parameter is optional. When SEC is not
    specified, message BBOA8942W is issued. This message implies
    that both SEC and REU have been specified. In the cases where
    SEC has not been specified, this message should not be issued,
    as its text is contrary to what the user has specified on the
    BBOC transaction.

Problem conclusion

  • Code has been added to issue message BBOA8942W only when
    necessary.
