PM80348: PLUGIN'S BUILD VERSION INFORMATION REPORTED IN THE LOG HAS "VERSION 6.0"

Error description

This message shows up in the HTTP server log when using the
V8.0 plug-in:

WebSphere HTTP Plug-in for z/OS and OS/390 Version 6.0 build
level 8.0.0.05 (cf051241.02) release WAS80.ZNATV date 10/10/12
15:49:56 is starting.

The version number should be 8.0

Local fix

Problem summary

*                      reported in the log has "Version 6.0"   *

Regardless of the version running, the plugin bld information
on z/OS will show "Version 6.0" along with the proper build
information.

Problem conclusion

The plugin code has been updated to remove the "Version 6.0"
information.

APAR PM80348 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix
Pack 8.0.0.6 of WebSphere Application Server V8.0 and
Fix Pack 8.5.5 of WebSphereApplication Server V8.5.

Sysroute APAR PM81443 will be used to deliver this fix in
WebSphere Application Server V6.1 for z/OS.

Sysroute APAR PM81444 will be used to deliver this fix in
WebSphere Application Server V7.0 for z/OS.
