Error description
Using the WebSphere Application Server administrative console to navigate to: Enterprise Applications -> <Application_name> -> [Enterprise Java Bean Properties] -> "Default messaging provider references" causes "anonymousxxxxxxx" directories to be created under the wstemp workspace directory under the profile root. For example, a directory named anonymous1234567891011 is created and is never deleted.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the default messaging provider * * for IBM WebSphere Application Server 7.0, * * 8.0 and 8.5 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WebSphere Application Server * * anonymous directories are created * * when using the administrative console * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Using the WebSphere Application Server administrative console to navigate to: Enterprise Applications -> <Application_name> - > [Enterprise Java Bean Properties] -> "Default messaging provider references" causes "anonymousxxxxxxx" directories to be created under the wstemp workspace directory under the profile root.
Problem conclusion
The code is fixed to set the correct config session during the navigation of the "Default messaging provider references" page. This avoids creating anonymous sessions which would have caused the anonymousxxxx directories to be created under the wstemp workspace directory under the profile root. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix packs 7.0.0.29, 8.0.0.7 and the fix pack following 8.5.0.2.
