**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A user with special HTML tags in it * * fails to be created in a custom * * adapter. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When a custom adapter is configured to virtual member manager (VMM) and you try to create a user with a name containing HTML tags, VMM allows to you create it, but the custom adapter may not handle these tags properly.
Problem conclusion
No matter what is configured to VMM, VMM will now handle these tags correctly. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix packs 7.0.0.27, 8.0.0.6, 8.5.0.2.
