Error description

  • If we change external ID to distinguished name, in VMM update
    API if we send unique name and unique ID , call goes to every
    adapter and throws EntityNotfound exception.

Problem summary

    *                      goes to every adapter and throws an     *

    In application group setup if external ID is mapped to
    distinguished name, at the time of adding a user to the group,
    in update API if we send unique name and ID then the call goes
    to every adapter and it throws an EntityNotFound exception.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Problem is corrected and virtual member manager (VMM) will only
    go to a particular adapter instead of ALL. It will no longer
    fail with an EnityNotFoundException.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 7.0.0.27 , 8.0.0.6 and 8.5.0.2.  Please refer to the
