    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When the WebSphere Application Server's OSGi framework
    creates a temporary file, it add the "deleteOnExit" attribute
    to the file, telling the JVM to delete the file when exiting.
    However, this operation is not permitted during the JVM's
    shutdown process, and in certain cases the framework will
    attempt it at that time, resulting in an IllegalStateException.

Problem conclusion

  • Since the cleanup of these files already occurs as part of the
    OSGi shutdown process, the offending method call was removed.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.27. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
