NullPointerException error may occur at JAX-WS application
startup when provisioning is enabled. The NullPointerException
occurs because JAX-RPC service is not available.

Problem conclusion

  • The Web services runtime was updated to avoid unnecessary
    dependency on JAX-RPC service.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
