  *                      support certificate login against a     *

  VMM does not support certificate login against a File
  Repository. The certificate Login request get ignored and the
  application throws
  "com.ibm.websphere.wim.exception.PasswordCheckFailedException:
  CWWIM4537E  No principal is found from the 'null' principal
  name.".
  

Problem conclusion

• With this fix you can enable or diable support for certificate
  login against File Repository by setting a custom property
  "certificateMapMode". The valid values for this property are
  "notSupported", "exactDN" and "certificateFilter". If this
  property is not set, VMM will continue to throw the
  PasswordCheckFailedException. If the value is set to
  "notSupported" VMM throws
  "com.ibm.websphere.wim.exception.CertificateMapNotSupportedExcep
  tion: CWWIM4542E  Authentication using a certificate is not
  supported by repository 'InternalFileRepository'.". If the
  value is set to "exactDN" or "certificateFilter" the
  certificate details are used for login.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 7.0.0.23.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
