    ****************************************************************
The APAR PM11754 update incorrectly removed a weak property of
a static hashmap of EPackageRegistryImpl class. While the weak
property is superfluous for the registering classloader (which
requires an explicit release API), the weak property is
necessary for child classloaders which have no actual direct
    registrations.

Problem conclusion

  • This update restores the weak property of the hashmap of
EPackageRegistryImpl class. The remaining update of PM11754 is
    retained.

APAR PM51699 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 7.0.0.23 of WebSphere Application Server V7.0
and Fix Pack 8.0.0.3 of WebSphere Application Server V8.0.
