When installing an application with message destination
references using the administrative console, drop-down JNDI
name choices are not displayed in the "Bind message
destination references to administered objects" section for
administered objects of type MQQueue and MQTopic. When valid
JNDI names are entered manually, error messages are displayed.

Problem conclusion

  • The internal mapping from interface type to valid administered
object types was not complete. The problem has been corrected.
