Error description

While creating a new cluster member from an existing template,
the variable SERVER_LOG_ROOT value within the created member is
overriden back to the template's default value of
"${LOG_ROOT}/Server_name" instead of using the user defined
value within the template.

While creating an application server or cluster member, the
value of the SERVER_ROOT variable defined in an existing server
template is ignored, instead,  the value of
"{LOG_ROOT}/serverName" is always used.

Problem conclusion

The code change will allow you to create an application server
or cluster member using the value of the SERVER_ROOT variable
defined in a server template when the system
propertycom.ibm.websphere.management.configservice.getServerLogR
ootFromTemplate=true
is set.

When using wsadmin in connected mode, the property should be set
at the deployment manager server using the
AdminTask.setJVMSystemProperties command or through the
administrative console.

When using wsadmin in LOCAL mode (conntype=none), the property
can be passed in as a javaoption:

wsadmin -conntype none -javaoption
"-Dcom.ibm.websphere.management.configservice.getServerLogRootFr
omTemplate=true"

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.43, 7.0.0.23 and 8.0.0.3.  Please refer to the
