  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When attempting to create a Dynamic Outbound EndPoint SSL
    Configuration using the
    AdminTask.createDynamicSSLConfigSelection() jython function,
    the task fails because it looks for keystore files in the
    wstemp workspace rather than in the master configuration. Users
    see the following error

    WASX7341W: No "save" was performed before the interactive
    scripting session exited; configuration changes will not be
    saved.

Local fix

  • Use ISC to create the configuration

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A keystore file created with *
    * createDocument may not be found by *
    *                      the createDynamicSSLConfigSelection     *
    *                      command.                                *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    A scripting failure may occur when processing the
    createDynamicSSLConfigSelection command
    because a keystore file created with the createDocument
    command may not exist in the wstemp workspace.

Problem conclusion

  • The createDynamicSSLConfigSelection code was corrected to check
    for the keystore file in the master configuration repository in
    addition to the wstemp workspace.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.23 and 8.0.0.3. Please refer to the Recommended
    Update page for delivery information:
    http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980

Temporary fix

  • Modify the wsadmin script to include a save after the
    keystore creation and before the
    createDynamicSSLConfigSelection command.
