Error description

• There is one section (at the bottom of the web page) in the
Information Center which contains unreadable characters. I
extracted the source from the Information Center site:

PK58756
This method returns the underlying physical JDBC connection to
the
caller. Take caution when you
????? * use the underlying physical connections directly,
because some
important functions of the application
????? * server will be lost, such as the following:
????? *
Tracing

????? *
Deferred enlistment

????? *
Transaction management

????? *
Exception mapping

????? *
Connection pooling

????? *
????? * Do not actually close the underlying physical
connection;
instead, close the connection handle from the application
????? * server. If you close the native connection handle, there
will be failures the next time the application server uses the
connection handle.
????? *????

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
The javadoc for the WSCallHelper.getNativeConnection() methods
contains some invalid characters and this results in the
Information Center displaying unwanted characters like "?????".

Problem conclusion

• This javadoc has been updated such that the invalid
characters are removed.
