Error description

  • Unable to change the value larger than 128,000 for Maximum open
    connections to configure TCP transport channel from the
    administrative console.
    
    In the administrative console, click Servers > WebSphere proxy
    servers
    Select the newly installed WAS SIP proxy
    Under Proxy Settings, click SIP Proxy Server setting > SIP proxy
    server transports
    Click SIP_PROXY_CHAIN
    Click TCP inbound channel
    In Maximum open connections field type <value>

Problem conclusion

  • The validation.xml was modified to allow the
    maxOpenConnections to be set to 1280000.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.21 and 8.0.0.2.  Please refer to the Recommended
