  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The parameter used for disabling the    *
  *                      disk space check is different between   *
  *                      installing Update Installer (UPDI)      *
  *                      and applying maintenance.               *

  UPDI is based on ISMP technology. In some special operating
  systems, ISMP couldn't detect the disk space correctly due to
  an ISMP limitation. So there is parameter to disable the disk
  space check in this case. However, the parameter for
  installing UPDI itself and applying maintenance is inconsistent.
  

Problem conclusion

• The consistent parameter for disabling disk space check during
  installing UPDI and applying maintenance will be provided.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 7.0.0.19.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
  page for delivery information:
