In some Java Virtual Machine implementations, calling
Deflator.finish() will close the underlying Deflator. In other
implementations, the underlying Deflator will not be closed,
resulting in a potential native memory leak.

Problem conclusion

Explicitly close Inflators and Deflators in WebSphere
Application Server code to make the difference in the Java
Virtual Machine implementations irrelevant.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.41 and 7.0.0.19.  Please refer to the
