    system requirements Web pages -
    http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg2700692
    for more information about supported operating systems. No
    ServicePack detected, but the recommended level is Service
    Pack 2

    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users who have the FDCC *
    *                      non-Administrator configuration will    *
    * be incorrectly blocked from installing *

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    Users who have the FDCC non-Administrator configuration will
    be incorrectly blocked from installing WebSphere products
    because they don't have access to read the registry and the
    Operating System prereq checker fails to determine the Service
    Pack Level

Problem conclusion

  • Install fix pack 7.0.0.17. If you are an FDCC
    non-Administrator user and do not have access to read the
    windows registry you will no longer be blocked from
    installing. You will however get a warning message in your
    log file that you may not be at the correct Service Pack
    level. If you are certain you are at the correct service pack
    level you can safely ignore this warning.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.17. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
    page for delivery information:
