Error description

When customer redeploying applications, they ran into native
OOM. com/ibm/ws/runtime/component/JavaCompContextMgrImpl.ecmdMap
is a static variable when indirectly referencing the websphere
CompoundClassLoader. The CCL is the application classloader in
WebSphere. This prevents the CCL being unloaded and holding a
lot of native storage. This static variable should have been
cleared when the application is stopped.

The entry in the ecmdMap variable in the class
JavaCompContextMgrImpl corresponding to an application
is not cleared when that application is uninstalled. This
entry has a reference to the application classloader resulting
in a classloader leak.

Problem conclusion

Modifications have been made to enable the removal of the
corresponding entry from the ecmdMap during the stop of an
application. This will ensure that stopped application
classloaders are not referenced from ecmdMap entries.

APAR PM35561 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level (Fix Pack) 6.1.0.41 of WebSphere Application Server V6.1.
and Fix Pack 8.0.0.2 of WebSphere Application Server V8.0.

Sysroute APAR PM47648 will be used to deliver this fix in
WebSphere Application Server V7.0.
