PM31299: WASPOSTUPGRADE HANGS ON A SSL SIGNER EXCHANGE PROMPT

Error description

  • The WASPostUpgrade command hangs waiting for user to input a
    response. However, there is no indication that the user must
    enter a response - the migration code does not expose the prompt
    to the command line.

    *                      ssl.enableSignerExchangePrompt=true.    *

    The setting ssl.enableSignerExchangePrompt=true causes a
    prompt to be displayed that cannot be seen when running the
    WASPostUpgrade command.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been corrected to automatically exchange signer
    certificates and not display a prompt.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.17.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
