Error description

  • verboseModeGarbageCollection should be "false" in dev profile.

This setting in server.xml should be false for development
    profile.

With this setting being set to "true" now, the garbage
collection output keeps hijacking the console view. This makes
it very difficult for Rational Application Developer users to
debug their application according to the WebSphere Application
    Server console output.

This problem doesn't have any impact on functionality.

A newly created WebSphere Application Server Development
profile has the JVM Attribute, verboseModeGarbageCollection,
enabled. With this setting now, the garbage collection output
keeps hijacking the console view. This makes it very difficult
for Rational Application Developer users to debug their
application according to the WebSphere Application Server
    console output.
