Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V7.0 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a Refer dialog inside Invite * * usage is terminated the Invite dialog * * is also terminated * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Whenever a dialog terminating message arrives on a Refer message the dialog is terminated even if the surrounded Invite dialog is not terminated yet.
Problem conclusion
The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) container now supports the dialog usage RFC (RFC 5057). The dialog is terminated when all the included usages are terminated. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.17.
