Error description

Customer experienced Java OutOfMemory Errors on their WebSphere
Application Server - Network Deployment edition V7.0.0.11;
64-bit environment; Operating System - AIX 5.3.

Symptom was high CPU on the node due to excessive garbage
collection and limited administrative capabilities during
application deployments.

Type of work space creator for this issue is
WAS.channel.tcp: instances - with workspace id:
anonymousNNNNNNNNNNNNN, for example, anonymous1288695549063.

Admin console code passed a null session/workspaceId with the
configservice.getAttribute call and those workspace creations
consumed both dmgr memory and the disk space (wstemp directory).

Problem recreated:
Clicked on Servers -> Core Groups -> Core Group Bridge
Settings. It created 14 anonymous workspaces.
May need a complex core group topology to reproduce the
error.

The active session is not being passed to the getTCPEndPoint
command.

The core group bridge AdminTasks were not properly passing
administrative sessions when listing eligible bridge
interfaces.  This resulted in a new administrative session
being created each time bridge interfaces needed to be
listed and caused a memory leak on the dmgr.

Problem conclusion

The current sessions are now passed to prevent new sessions
from being created.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.17.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
