    *                  WebSphere Application Server V7.0           *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: JDBC driver name is not read when you *
    * have javascript disabled in your *
    *                      browser.                                *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Enable javascript in the administrative *
    * console browser and the problem will not *
    *                  occur.                                      *
    ****************************************************************
    The administrative console displays two different pages in the
    JDBC provider creation wizard when you have javascript
    disabled or enabled in your browser. The JDBC provider name
    is lost when javascript is disabled and the wizard can not
    complete.

Problem conclusion

  • Code has been updated to keep the current value of the JDBC
    provider name when javascript is disabled in the
    administrative console browser. This allows the JDBC
    provider wizard to complete,and the name can be edited after
    the JDBC provider is created.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.15. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
