Problem conclusion
The JAX-WS runtime maintains an object called a MarshalServiceRuntimeDescription, which caches information associated with marshaling and unmarshaling. This object was not correctly updated when the service was updated. The runtime is fixed to ensure that the MarshalServiceRuntimeDescription is correctly updated. APAR PM23191 corrects this problem with the V6.1 Feature Pack for Web Services The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.15.
