Error description

Performance Monitoring Infrastructure HTTPSession ActiveCount
shows a negative value. This can be observed using Tivoli
Performance Viewer or any PMI client such as wsadmin.
ActiveCount always shows larger than 0, but it shows only
negative values.

*                      account for newly created sessions.     *

When a session is created in a request, the PMI ActiveCount is
not incremented during this request. This results in the
ActiveCount statistic during the processing of this request to
be one less than what it should be. However, once this request
is complete, the ActiveCount statistic is decremented
correctly. This results in an incorrect (potentially negative)
value for the ActiveCount statistic.

Problem conclusion

Code change has been made to increment the PMI ActiveCount
statistic correctly during HTTP session creation. This APAR
only applies to V7.0 and the code changes will be integrated
into the fix pack 7.0.0.15.
