Error description

When an application running on WebSphere Application
Server v7 connects to a remote v6.1 server to login via the
WSLoginModule,
using the user/password credential of a remote user,

The connection may fail with the following exception:

This same scenario works as expected if the Web application is
running on WebSphere Application Server v6.1.

WebSphere Application Server was incorrectly caching a local
copy of the security server instance.

Problem conclusion

WebSphere Application Server has been modified to correctly
query for the remote security server.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.15.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
