Error description

  • This scenario involves a configuration where multiple base
    entries are defined for an LDAP repository, but only a subset of
    them are referenced in a realm. When a request is made to
    search within the realm containing the subset of LDAP base
    entries, the search is incorrectly performed all base entries
    defined for the LDAP repsository.

    Example:

    LDAP1
      c=us
      c=uk

    realm1
      c=uk

    When a search is performed against realm1, VMM incorrectly
    searches both c=us and c=uk.
    The correct behavior is to limit the search to c=uk for
    realm1.
