Error description

Customer is getting java.text.ParseException on Sun Operating
System, for a date in the format:
"2010-01-15T13:47:16.000-05:00".
This works fine on Microsoft Windows and Linux operating
systems, but fails on SunOS in particular.

The date with the format "2010-01-15T13:47:16.000-05:00" is
not able parse successfully specifically on SunOS systems.

The same date format is parse-able on Microsoft Windows and
Linux Operating systems.


Customer is getting java.text.ParseException on SunOS, for the
date in the format "2010-01-15T13:47:16.000-05:00". This date
is working fine on Windows and Linux, but fails on SunOS in
particular with the following exception :


Caused by: java.text.ParseException: Unparseable date:
"2010-01-15T13:47:16.000-05:00"
 at java.text.DateFormat.parse(DateFormat.java:337)
at
com.ibm.websphere.wim.util.SDOHelper.getDateFromString(SDOHelper
.java:372)

Problem conclusion

Code has been corrected to avoid the ParseException.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.33 and 7.0.0.13.  Please refer to the
