Error description
When using a 3rd Party Messaging Provider to connect to a remote Java Message Service (JMS) Server, the following warning message is encountered: J2CXAResource W J2CA0061W: Error creating XA Connection and Resource java.lang.Exception: Parameter xaResInfo lacks an RA wrapper and an RA wrapper could not be resolved using RA key. WebSphere MQ supports the JCA1.5 specification however some 3rd party vendors may not support this specification.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V7.0 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using a 3rd Party Messaging * * Provider to connect to a remote * * JMS Server, the following warning * * message is encountered: * * * * J2CXAResource W J2CA0061W: Error * * creating XA Connection and * * Resource java.lang.Exception: * * Parameter xaResInfo lacks an RA * * wrapper and an RA wrapper could not * * be resolved using RA key. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The third party JMS resource adapter(s) that are based on J2EE Connector Architecture (JCA) specification version < 1.5 missed certain configuration in their ra.xml. When they are processed by the JCA container, a NULL value is substituted where the configuration goes missing. It works fine in normal scenarios. But, on recovery path the container fails to initialize the RA instance and issues the warning message.
Problem conclusion
Now the JCA container implementation is made tolerant of 3rd party JMS resource adapters that use JCA specifications lower than V1.5. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 7.0.0.17.
