Error description

  • The TimeToLive timeout is not updated when an existing cache
    entry with a TimeToLive timeout is updated.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A time-to-live or inactivity timeout    *
    *                      does not occur as expected when an      *
    *                      existing cached object with a timeout   *
    *                      is updated.                             *

    ****************************************************************
    The daemon process the performs timeout invalidations is not
    updated when a cache entry's timeout attribute is changed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The existing timeout information will be updated when an
    cached object is updated.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.45, 8.0.0.14, 8.5.5.13 and 9.0.0.5.  Please
