    When plugin makes a call to connect to the application server
    it may be unsuccessful due to a system interrupt which can
    occur when the web server is starting and stopping processes.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Plugin issues a second attempt when the connect call is
    interrupted. Sometimes this second chance call is not
    successful when the same socket is used. To increase the
    success rate, plugin will use a new socket on the second
    chance connect.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 7.0.0.39, 8.0.0.12 and 8.5.5.7.  Please refer to the
