APAR status

Error description

  • An empty classpath definition in the JVMEntries section in the
    server.xml causes message WSVR0322Wto mistakingly be emitted.
    
    An empty tag  can be generated if you define a classpath via
    the ISC and then later remove it or perhaps from tooling
    (scripting used to help configure your system).
    
    Problem surfaced in 8.5.5.5.

    The WebSphere Application Server issues a warning message,
    WSVR0322W, when it detects that the user has modified the JVM
    classpath for the server.  However, the logic was structured
    such that it was always issued if there was a classpath element
    present within the JVM definition, even if that classpath
    element was empty.
