Error description

  • In WebSphere Application Server configuration if user wants to
configure security domain CSIv2 outbound configuration panel
with Trusted authentication realms - outbound with same name
is not allowed as global security realm name as trusted.
The WebSphere Application Server code does not allow (just go
    back to "not trusted")

If security domain accidentally "not trust" global security
realm, the internal call would fail.

    ****************************************************************
From adminconsole or wsadmin command, a realm cannot be set as
"trusted" for security domain CSIv2 outbound configuration if
the realm name is the same as global security domain name.
Adminconsole or command would not show the error, but the
    domain remains "not trusted".

Problem conclusion

  • The code was updated so the realm can be trusted.
