APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Attempting to deploy an application using the Remote System
Option fails with this error seen on the browser:
"Websphere FileBrowser MBEAN not found. Node agent may not be
    running."
     -
This problem is seen after the fix for APAR PM66055
(Fixpack 7.0.0.25) is installed. The problem happens when the
server name of the Deployment Manager is anything else besides
dmgr. The problem was found on a System i (iSeries, AS/400)
configuration that used the name Dmgr01.

Local fix

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
The name of the deployment manager on the i-series is NOT
dmgr. The code assumed it was and therefore MBeans were not
    found.

Problem conclusion

  • We now use the process name when trying to find MBeans on the
    deployment manager.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
