• The install option backup=n is meant to disable backups, but
  some files are still being created in .backup/

  Users of SSM fix packs who do not want uninstall back files.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  SSM patch install option 'backup=n' still creates some backup
  files in the .backups directory.
  ****************************************************************
  RECOMMENDATION:
  Upgrade to Fix Pack 10 for SSM 4.0.
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• Upgraded the Mia patch installer to v2.0.20 in which backup=n
  works again - no longer creates .backups/
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:
