Error description

  • Installing the win32 SSM under wine is necessary for users
wishing to use the MIB Explorer on a Linux/Unix desktop. However
doing so puts the SSM's config files in the wine C:\ folder
instead of ssm\config.

While wine is not an officially supported platform, the root
cause of this problem has already been found to be a mistake in
the SSM installer itself which could potentially affect real
Windows installations.
