APAR status

Error description

• On some HPUX systems ipAdEntIfIndex was found to report an
  interface index greater than the number of interfaces.
  

Local fix

  Upgrade to Fix Pack 9 for SSM 4.0.

Problem conclusion

• On HPUX, the MIB2 ipAddrTable logic (which also feeds
  srIfTable) incorrectly assumed that OS interface indexes matched
  pcap interface indexes. That assumption was wrong. Now we match
  the two lists using IP addresses.
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:
