APAR status

Error description

• The remove-ssmagent script is meant to be installed with mode
  700 (executable) but only gets mode 600 if installed as non-root
  on AIX.
  

Local fix

• chmod 700 remove-ssmagent
  ./remove-ssmagent

Problem conclusion

• The wrong file mode of "remove-ssmagent" was due to an earlier
  command (the AIX service registration) failing as a fatal error.
  Therefore the chmod 700 statement was never reached. This is now
  resolved as service subsystems (AIX, Solaris 10) are ignored by
  the installer if it is running as non-root. As non-root, the
  installer/uninstaller attempts to use the init script only.
  
  In SSM 4.0 Fix Pack 9, the remove-ssmagent script is explicitly
  changed to mode 700 when the fix pack is installed.
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
