• Issue: On some AIX machines hostres hangs spinning the CPU on
  startup
  
  ISM 4.00 FP7
  
  AIX 5.3
  
  Due to this issue core file is generated and its been a known
  issue with the build of ssm hence creating an apar

  Upgrade to Fix Pack 8 for SSM 4.0.

Problem conclusion

• Added additional sanity checking to libplib. If it appears to
  not be progressing through the list of processes on the system
  then plib will just return a truncated process list instead of
  retrying (spinning) indefinitely.
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:
