Error description

  • When using the console you often get too much output from
background console commands.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • There was a lack of checking which thread console text
originated from. This was causing console output test from
background threads to appear in an interactive console session.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • By default the interactive console will now only display text
originating from console commands executed in it's own thread.
This makes console output from other threads invisible in the
console application, but still visible in the debug log.
Programmable
vmConsole mode will still work in the background too.

To revert to the old behavior just set inivar ConsoleFilter=off
or ConsoleFilter=no.
