APAR status

• Closed as suggestion for future release.

Error description

• Verified on Solaris but appears to be shared with multiple
  platforms. There is no reason for the table to be blank because
  the minimum required information to create rows is available in
  MIB2 ifTable even as non-root. Of course, you may not have
  enough information to populate all columns as non-root, but
  creating rows is clearly definitely possible.

• This happens because the interface gets classed as loopback. If
  we can find a way to get the interface type on all platforms
  with out root access we'll fix this up.
