Error description

• There is a sr_logmon row being created by the default oracle.cfg
  file that monitors the "*Application" file. This is a windows
  specific syntax and should not appear in our Unix based
  distributions.
  

Local fix

• Search for *Application in the oracle.cfg file and comment out
  that configuration block.
  

Problem summary

• Oracle.cfg had some windows specific configuration for log
  monitoring. Resolving this by splitting the configuration files
  out into common, Unix and Windows.
